Founder & President of Ewing Moving Services

Charles Ewing, Sr. began Ewing Moving Service, Inc. in 1980 with a pickup truck, two movers and faith. Since then, the company has grown into one of the largest minority-owned moving and storage facilities in the Mid-South.
Mr. Ewing is very active in the advancement of his hometown. He currently serves on a variety of Boards, some of which include: Boys and Girls Clubs of Memphis, Soulsville/ Stax Museum of American Soul, and The Society of Entrepreneurs.
His devotion to the Memphis community has awarded him honors such as the Tennessee Minority Supplier Development Council Impact Award and the Memphis Business Journal “Top 40 Under Forty”.
Mr. Ewing is a proud graduate of the historic Booker T. Washington High School and holds an Associates Degree in Business Accounting from Shelby State Community College. He and his wife, Donna, have three children and reside in Memphis.
