• More than 75% of each dollar we raise goes directly to programs for our kids.
• In neighborhoods where there is a Boys & Girls Club present, there is a 25% reduction in the presence of crack cocaine, a 22% reduction in overall drug activity and a 13% reduction in juvenile crime. In addition, teen pregnancy rates are reduced by as much as 50%.
• More than 150 teens are employed through our Job Ready program, training them as future members of our adult workforce.
• Our Project Learn program increases overall GPA by 15% and results in 87% fewer school absences.

A Place To Grow Since its founding in 1962, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis has been the positive place kids turn to for leadership and support. Through close personal interaction with adult staff, Club members learn to appreciate the value of fair play, teamwork and friendship, which helps lead them towards a prosperous adulthood and away from the destructive influences of crime, drugs and violence.

Character and Leadership Development empowers youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships and develop a positive self-image.

Education and Career Development enables youth to be proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to optimize employability.

Health and Life Skills develops young people's capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and develop the competencies to live successfully as self-sufficient adults.

The Arts enables youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of visual and tactile arts and crafts, performing arts and creative writing.

Sports, Fitness, and Recreation develops fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment and social/interpersonal skills.
