The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis (BGCM) represent a beacon of hope in the greater Memphis area where we serve more than 5,000 kids annually. Our high-quality programs help members through mentoring, homework assistance, leadership development, arts, sports and fitness.
When you make a donation to BGCM or volunteer your time, you provide our local kids with hope and opportunity. They do better in school, steer clear of drugs and gangs, and begin to set personal goals for themselves, which ultimately helps them to become responsible citizens of our community. 7 ways you can help:
1.
Become a Very Special Sponsor – For $20 a month you can sponsor a child in the Club for one year. Open doors for Memphis-area youth and help give them endless opportunities.

2. Make a One-time Donation – Every donation helps us make a difference, and more than 75% of each dollar we raise goes directly to programs for our kids.
3. Pay Tribute in Memoriam or Honorarium – There is no better way to recognize someone you care about than by giving a gift in their honor.
4. Take Part in Special Events & Gifts – There are many fun events throughout the year that you may participate in, sponsor or support to help the Girls & Boys Clubs of Greater Memphis create opportunities for children.
Honoring all the individuals and companies that support Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis, the Annual Steak n’ Burger Dinner is a unique event that engages both donors and Club members. While the adults dine on burgers, our Club members feast on steak!
The Annual Golf Classic and Tennis Invitational take place during the summer months and are all about playing sports and having fun. Turning fundraisers into friendly competition, these tournaments attract hundreds of avid golf and tennis players each year.
Full of holiday cheer, entertainment, food and fun, the Toast for Toys Gala is a holiday toy fundraiser to benefit our Club members. The ticket cost includes one toy donation, which goes to a youth at one of our six locations.
5. Participate in Planned Giving – Leave a legacy to help empower the kids in our community, and you could benefit from tax rewards.

Volunteer – Lend a helping hand, and show our kids that the adults in the community care about them and who they become. From tutors to coaches and vocational trainers, there are many opportunities for volunteers in our Clubs and plenty of youth who need positive role models.

7. Contribute to our Wish Lists – In addition to monetary donations, we rely on the generosity of supporters like you to provide equipment and materials for our Clubs such as chairs, televisions and plumbing systems.

Donor Privacy Policy
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis (BGCM) is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We have developed this privacy policy to ensure our donors that donor information will not be shared with any third party without the donor's consent, unless otherwise required by law. BGCM provides this Donor Privacy Policy to make you aware of our privacy policy, and to inform you of the way your information is used. We also provide you with the opportunity to remove your name from our mailing list, if you desire to do so. We collect and maintain the following types of donor information:
- Contact information: name, organization, complete address, phone number, email address;
- Payment information: credit card number and expiration date, and billing information;
- Requests to receive periodic updates: e.g., to individuals who request it, we will send periodic mailings and/or e-mails related to specific fund-raising events or appeals, and newsletters.
BGCM uses your information to complete a transaction, communicate back to you, and update you on foundation happenings. Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and are not retained for other purposes.
BGCM will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to other organizations. We assure you that the identity of all our donors will be kept confidential. Use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of BGCM. It is our desire to not send unwanted mail to our donors. Please contact us if you wish to be removed from our mailing list. E-mail communications provide a mechanism to have your address removed from our contact list.
