Mission: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Lifeline is a Mentoring program designed with the concept that a caring adult can save a life by spending quality time with a young person to help guide them and give them light in a positive non-threatening manner. 

Program Summary: Lifeline mentoring program is an opportunity for adults (ages 18 and up) to mentor children (7-14) one hour, twice a month for a year.  Training, food, supervision and activities are all provided.

Past Activities:

On-Site Activities

  • Game Day
  • Mask Making
  • Team Building Activities
  • Dream Boxes

Off-Site Activities

  • Grizzlies Basketball Game
  • Ride the Ducks
  • Bowling
  • Children’s Museum of Memphis        

5 Simple Steps To Becoming A Mentor!

    1. Contact the Mentor Coordinator
    2. Interview with the Mentor Coordinator
    3. Take a 2 hour training course
    4. Get matched with a mentee
    5. Meet with mentee 1 hour every other week!
