Gladys Robinson, Club Director - gcole@bgcm.org

Gladys Robinson is the Unit Director of the Sycamore View Boys & Girls Club. She was born in Rossville, TN but grew up in Moscow TN. Gladys is the third oldest child out of 14. She attended Fayette Ware High school where she graduated with an academic scholarship. Upon graduating from high school she attended Lane College, Jackson TN, where she majored in Computers/Math and graduated with honors. While in college she won several math and science awards such as Ms. Computer Science. During her employment at Girls Incorporated of Memphis she received awards such as Program Professional of the Year in 2001, Outstanding Program Awards for Leadership and Community Action in 2000, and several awards for program designs. Gladys now lives in Jackson, TN with her husband Victor Robinson and their 5 children.

Jeremy Smith, Program Director - jeremys@bgcm.org

While attending the University of Memphis to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Sport Science and minor in Sociology, Jeremy volunteered his time as a mentor at the Samelson Branch of BGCM. He soon became part of the part-time then full time staff, serving as the Program Director for the Sycamore View Branch. Jeremy’s goal is to continue to grow membership and introduce some new programs in the Club. In the future he aspires to be a Club Executive Director and eventually a higher executive to make his daughter Julianna proud.
