Ron Nelson was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a graduate of LeMoyne-Owen College where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Ron was employed as a Camp Counselor in 2005. In October 2005, he was promoted to Program Director at the John Dustin Buckman Branch. While serving in this capacity, he has instilled positive character and leadership skills and quality programming for over 500 youth. Growing up, Ron was a member of the Dixie Boys Club for 11 years under the direction of Bernal Smith. During his employment with the organization, Ron has been an active member of the Association of Boys & Girls Club Professionals. Now Ron returns to the Buckman branch as the Executive Director.

Brittany was born and raised in Savannah, TN. She graduated from The University of Memphis in 2010 with a degree in Psychology. She was employed with Buckman Boys and Girls Club in 2008 as the computer lab instructor for several months then volunteered afterwards as the CBay Teacher. After graduation, she worked at Youth Villages as a Family Counselor for 3 ½ years upon accepting the program director position here at Buckman in June of 2014. She loves her job because she has a passion for working with children and helping them .
