Chantelle was born in Chicago, IL. and raised in Memphis, TN. where she built a passion for people and for the community. She grew up in the inner city of Memphis, attended the Porter Boys & Girls Club, and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. Chantelle received a B.S. In Human Science/Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Alexis was born and raised in Memphis, TN, where she attended White Station High School. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. After gaining meaningful experience through her work with Youth Villages, Alexis joined BGCM as Program Director in July of 2017. She hopes to continue to fulfill her passion of working with children and leaving a lasting impact on the youth of Memphis.
